Welcome to our Duke of Edinburgh blog. Here at Queen Mary's High School we have always maintained a commitment to providing outstanding education and a robust enrichment to the curriculum, which will also provide our students with skills for life. The Duke of Edinburgh awards are a key part of that opportunity. We have offered and delivered the Bronze level award since 2003 and over time students have also taken part in the higher levels, Silver and Gold.
In more recent years we have become a licensed organisation for the delivery of the awards and have seen our numbers rise significantly. We now offer the full range of awards.
The school is supported by a team of teachers who give generously of their time to become trained as needed and to give their time to support the students through training, practice and qualification.
